What does my device status mean?

Status

Description

Action required?

Active

The asset is active and associated with service and/or billed on the most recent invoice. 

 

Repair

The asset is being repaired at a company warehouse.

Once the device is repaired, you will have to update the device and mark is as “In Stock”.

Lost or Stolen

The employee and/or company does not have possession of the device and it cannot be located.

 

Unconfirmed / Pending

 

The device is pending research or action; it is not eligible for service related orders.

Pending Return

The employee has the device, but is in the process of surrendering the device to the appropriate company warehouse.

Once the device is received by the company warehouse, you will have to update the device and mark is as “In Stock”.

Retired / Disposed

The asset is no longer in use.

The device will not be eligible for service related orders.

In Stock

The asset does not have service and is a stock device. 

The device can be used in an order to be activated with service and assigned to an employee.

Mobile orders that update your device inventory

When several order transactions are completed in the Usage Management module, the platform will ensure that the asset in Device Inventory reflects the device selected in the order. These updates happen automatically for assets that have been associated with an active billing mobile number.
