HR Module

You can store information about your company's current and former employees in the platform. This information can then affect ordering, inventory, and dynamic allocation.

If your company provides an automated HR Feed, do not make manual edits on the platform. The automated feed overrides manual changes.


What reports are available for my employees?

 

This is the primary report to use to see all your employees.

HR Inactive Users

View inactive employee records only.

HR Inconsistencies

 

HR User with Inactive Building

View employees tied to an inactive location/building.

HR Leavers Report

View employees with upcoming termination dates populated.

How are employees used on the platform?

How it is used

Inventory Management

Assign inventory items to employees to define ownership of the inventory items; typically, this will be a mobile number or conferencing account.

Entitlement Groups

If you are using the Mobile Platform for ordering or using the End User Mobile Platform, each employee needs to belong to the entitlement group so they can place orders that abide by your company's mobile policy.

Buildings / Locations

Use employees to assign a Building Manager for each location record in the platform. 

Service Desk
(Wireless Orders)

Place orders for employees in the platform.

Service Catalog
(Wireline Orders)

Use employees to populate key contact fields when creating a wireline order; for example, Requestor or Site Contact.

User Management
(Mobile End User Portal)

Employees view their assigned mobile numbers, place mobile orders, and designated managers/supervisors can approve orders.

Cost Center to GL Code Definition
(Dynamic Allocation)

Assign inventory to employee records to derive the employee specific cost center codes to allocate their associated services.
