Building or Location Type

The Building or Location Type module provides you the capability to create your own location classifications, so you report on cost or inventory by Building Type. You may customize or edit this list at any time. During the Implementation process, our team will assist you in creating all the valid types.

Open

The values in this module determine the options you have available to you in the Site Type field when managing your Building / Location List.

In this article, you will learn how to:

1. Add a new Location Type

2. Edit an existing Location Type

3. Delete a Location Type

Add a new Building / Location Type

1. Click the New button at the bottom of the list.

2. Enter the building type.

3. Click Accept to add the new value.

Open

Edit an existing Building / Location Type

1. Click the spyglass in Edit column.

1. Edit the entry for the Building Type.

2. Click Accept to apply changes.

Delete a Building / Location Type

1. Click the red x icon in Delete column.

2. Review the information to confirm you selected the correct entry.

3. Click Delete.
