Overview

In this document, we are going to take a look on the “Page Break” control. Wayfast allow us to insert a page break when you want to establish a separation between different sections in the same page.

How to create a “Page Break” control?

Preconditions

Under the Page dashboard, select any page previously created or generate a new page.

Turn to “Controls” section

Select the “Page Break” option and click “New” button

A popup is displayed on screen to setup the “Page Break” control

Introduce the “Page Break” control name and turn to Layout tab. This setting is going to be the most important on the control since essentially this is a user interface separation between other different controls that we used to develop in project’s application.

NOTE: If this new control only needs to displayed on screen depending on certain conditions, we can go to “Conditional” tab and setup the variables to make this possible. Selecting “Yes”, the label will be visible every time that we enter to the page.

Recap

“Page Break” is a simple control to manage the user interface and divide the sections like in the example when there’s another control like a “Label” or “Search” that needs to be placed adjusting the alignment in the form. Depending on the layout selected for the Project’s application, this control will be displayed as line or dotted line.
