Overview

Solutions are the main containers for any project that needs to be developed in Wayfast. It can contain projects that are Wayfast approach for slicing and reusing features. It’s a key point to build your application and organize your development.

How to create and view Solutions?

Once the user has access to Wayfast, we can go to “My Solutions” section and click on “Solution” button.

A popup is displayed to create the container. First of all, we need to complete the “Name” and “Description” fields before clicking on “Accept” button to continue. This container will organize the new applications created and we can easily view all our Solutions in the Dashboard.

Now the new solution is available in “My Solutions” dashboard. “Portfolio” icon beside the solution’s name will provide the # of Projects allocate on each solution created.

Next to “New Solution” button, there are some view filters that we can use to display in the dashboard only “Active” solutions by default or showing the “Inactive” solutions.

In this lesson, we learnt about the “Solution” as key concept in Wayfast, how they can contain Projects and organize the work within. In following chapters, we are going to define the structure by associating the Project with a Database.
